Reason #10 – Operating from Memory
Reason number 10, operating from memory.
All too often, small business owners are running everything straight from memory — their dreams, their goals, their aspirations.
Even daily operations — it’s all in their head.
And that is a huge problem.
Let’s say the owner steps away.
The manager takes a break.
The business stops.
There’s no structure.
There’s no uniformity.
There’s no sustainability.
Not only is this stressful, it’s a business model that I guarantee is going to break down.
