Transcript: Women’s Apparel Business Plan Template Walkthrough
Introduction
Hey all, my name is Paul Borosky and I am the owner of Quality Business Plan, and what I’d like to do today is introduce you all to my Women’s Apparel Business Plan Templates. So the way the video is going to play out is first and foremost, I’m going to give you a little bit of background about me—who I am, what I do, and why I do it—and then after that we’ll dive into the Women’s Apparel Business Plan Template, specifically the Word document which includes the actual business plan template as well as the financial model which is an Excel sheet.
Template Overview
So, if you purchase my Women’s Apparel Store Business Plan Template, it comes with a Word document and once you open it, you’ll be greeted with the title page. On the title page, most clients remove my wording, add their own logo, and keep the “Business Plan” text underneath.
Table of Contents
Page two is the Table of Contents. Once you add content to the template, go to the Table of Contents, click “Update Table,” then “Update Entire Table,” and your page numbers and titles will automatically update.
Executive Summary
Next is your Executive Summary. I provide a strong starting point for your Women’s Apparel summary, target market, financial highlights, and funding request. For financial highlights, update your financial model first—then transfer that data here.
Company Description
The next section is the Company Description—this is the meat and potatoes of describing your business. I give you a great starting point for your company overview, popular products and services offered, competitive advantage, target market, pricing strategy, hours of operation, and business objectives and timelines (3 months, 6 months, and 1 year).
Industry Research
In this section, I include industry research sourced from IBISWorld or other sources. I summarize key statistics, cite my sources, and present the data in an easy-to-digest format.
SWOT Analysis
The SWOT Analysis includes Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Simply click on the SmartArt and type your own details.
Organizational Structure
This section includes two parts: Ownership and Organizational Chart. To update, click on the chart and add your business information.
Marketing Section
For marketing, I provide a foundation for three main channels: traditional marketing, internet marketing, and social media marketing. You can easily modify or expand these.
Funding Request
The Funding Request outlines how much money you need, how it will be used, and what loan terms you’re seeking.
Financial Projections
I include detailed financial projections:
Year 1 monthly breakdown (quarters 1–4)
5-year pro forma income statement summarizing annual revenues, expenses, and net income
To update these, use the Excel model included.
Excel Financial Model
The financial model has four tabs: Information Page, Projections, Profit and Loss, and Income Statement. Update only the darker-colored cells—sales, labor, startup costs, fixed costs, tax rate, growth assumptions, and loan information. Once entered, all statements auto-update. Copy and paste your financials into the Word doc when complete.
Summary and Wrap-Up
In summary, the Women’s Apparel Business Plan Template includes the Word document, Excel financial model, and access to video tutorials (before or after purchase). You’ll need Microsoft Word and Excel to edit.
If you have questions, feel free to call, text, or email me. I’m happy to discuss the template details. After purchase, mentoring or assistance is available for a fee. If you prefer a fully customized plan written by a professional, I also offer custom business plan writing services.
Closing
Hopefully this information was helpful. As always, go out, make a little bit of money, and have a great day. Thank you.
